Talks about the bitterness of beauty, which many people dont understand.
It was of bitter taste, yet was often tasted
It was poisoned, yet attractive
It was worthless, yet honoured
It was internally distorted, but externally eye-pleasing
It grew on poor, unnutritious soil
It drank from black, muddy rain
It decieved man just as blurry, thick glass would decieve sight
It spread confusion and ignorance,
It was responsible for plotting evil and breathing out falsehood
It despised the faces of the righteous and innocent
It was cultivated on a ground of injustice
It absorbed arrogance, from the rain it recieved
It was a twisted crop
Yet very few saw it for what it really was.
