A poem about deja-vu …
Typically bizarre…
Man in the moon was heavy…
- so was my heart;
Didn’t know what to say
or where to start;
Spoke not a word but said the world…
Did you understand?
Maybe so….
Call on the line…
Wasn’t for me, but I spoke to him
on the other end;
Spoke my mind
to a stranger I’d never met but knew so well
- from the jail cell;
Funny, I’ve never been there before…
The room was so far above the floor….
Amazing
the things that are said
when a pillow meets two heads
behind closed doors…
Felt so distant, but my soul was near;
Met you today for the first time ever…
Strange; I’ve known you so many years.
