Black History Month, a poem.
What does Black History month stand for?
Reflection of accomplishment and pride;
It also means, we shall strive;
Dignity the reason and the cause with respect;
Thanking our ancestors with paving the way for our own contributions to society;
It’s the reason to believe and hope for tomorrow;
Tomorrow being our sunrise, and at the end of yesterday, our sunset in remembrance;
Remembrance of your caring involvement, and giving us the direction to our future;
Creativity divine and motivation to soar;
Your contributions of your past, educating us to use care;
We honor you this month; your ides with finase and style;
Generation to generation, your talents that were bestowed;
Our life enriched from your success;
You have inspired yesterday, our minds on achievement;
Thanks for your innovation, and tomorrow, our own success story to remember.
