About September 11th.

Oh the horrors my blind eyes have seen
We thought that we were safe untouchable
So we grew lax thinking that all the carnage
Devastation and destruction in the world
Would and could never touch us we thought
We were too strong too powerful that no
One would dare then on that fateful day
Our blinded eyes were opened there were
Thousands dead and or missing in the madness
That came and caught us all unaware from
Within our own borders came the striking
Blow bringing death and destruction home
