Blindfolded

How much can you feel when you are blindfolded.

A silk scarf, a new experience,

I´m blindfolded my heart beats faster

How much can I trust

Should I be scared

But before my closed eyes

million colors suddenly appeared

there was nothing to fear

there was no darkness just so many new senses that

I was never aware before

My body stops existing

it was replaced with infinite nervous terminals

showing me how to feel

Finally my imagination filled my mind with tender scenes

everything I wanted to see

Just been a moon in outer space

a super hero, maybe a beauty or just a real love

I can be anything

I can be anyone

Blindfolded… I have to trust in the person I love.

that was a really lovely poem, full of imagery. i could feel just as you are feeling and the descriptions are so true to life. when one is blindfolded, they really do see so many different shades of color and their imagination can take them and make them into anything they choose. the last verse was the best, as it is all to do with true love and trust. i enjoyed this poem very much. thanks Luna, for the lovely share.
