In the blink of an eye I behold the blossoms in your hair.

Why didn’t you hear what I was trying to tell you.

Dear, you never listen to me.

Please let me move close to you and bring myself to love the essence of your being.

In the blink of an eye you seem like perfume that passes me by.

You prey upon my longing heart until the day I choose to depart.

But where I go I know not where for I think of the wonders when you stare.

What a glorious day I behold that passing fancy that I hold forever more!

In the blink of an eye you reside that when you make me a passer by.

I catch a glimpse of all those things that I want to see and my God they serve my glee.

In the blink of an eye it happened so fast, “Oh God!  I can’t believe that it’ll last.”

Never mind my the disappointments and the regrets that still lie upon my chest.

They’ll be gone before long when everything is calm again.

So what will I do for things that seem to pass me by?

I can only believe that my life will caress your hopes and turn them into diamonds.

I prefer diamonds to gold nuggets whenever it happens, for it will be a revelation that last.
