Thru the stress we put on ourselves multiplied ten-fold.
To wander the dangerous line,
Between the light of hope and the darkness of the blind.
How is it that our feelings of inadequacy can have such power,
While the strengths we hold inside us can make us cower?
How hard is it to accept,
Our talents and gifts, what a concept!
And yet, with each day we fret and fray,
Whiling and passing all our time away.
Binding ourselves deeper in our woes.
Worrying and stressing, feeling there is no place to go,
And yet there ever shines a sun behind the clouds
Simply waiting for us to look up and part our confining shrouds
Close your eyes and look inside
See the true potential that you hide
For you possess more than you know
Open your heart and mind and let it grow
The world turns back around,
But it is not the same, because now you glimpse the wonders that abound,
And though the world still seems to have gone crazy
It will not implode today, but will start to bloom like a daisy,
