Take your lot in life, do what you do, and do your very best to shine.

You may think your situation is hard to bear.

You may feel that the world isn’t fair.

You’ve got to take the lead,

sow your seed,

and bloom where you have been planted.

When life throws you rocks,

and you feel like hiding in a box.

Forget the bad deed,

sow your seed,

and bloom where you have been planted.

Everyone has a mission

regardless of the condition.

So clear out the weeds,

sow your seeds,

and bloom where you have been planted.

DB – What a beautiful, precious poem of encouragement. You have just become a great motivational speaker with this work…
This is almost like the tree planted by the river which “shall not be moved”. Hopeful the seed will fall of fertile ground. Great piece. Thank you.
    Edit…
“sew your seed” should be “sow your seed”

I like the way it is written…my favorite lines:

    sow your seed,
and bloom where you have been planted.
    Everyone has a mission
    regardless of the condition.

Thank you for sharing such a inspiring poem…
