Days go by quickly… treasure them.

Blooming January

January remembers

His old friend December

For giving him a fresh start

Eyes open, very smart.

For if December never ended

January wouldn’t be sent-

To February, Valentine of the heart

Sprinkled over to March-

Then March would lead to Spring

And April blooms, ready to sing

Getting ready to take May under her wings.

And May all the flowers in bloom

My goodness… it’s almost June.

July is sunny and waiting to meet August

It’s humid, you can hardly focus

But don’t worry… August endeavors

To meet his buddy, Mr. September

September gets ready to greet October

Pumpkins and treats, until November

It’s Turkey time in November

Preparing for Santa’s visit in December

December ends with applause

For January will bring forth a better cause.
