This is dedicated to cherry blossoms.
Pink and pink- white transient blossoms
Abloom on snow-covered boughs
On sixteenth day of lunar year
For only few days and wither
Without time enough to savour warmth of sun
Soft caress of chilly, winter breeze
Slumber under quilts of silver mist
Kiss of fluorescent dewdrops
Touch of silken moonbeams
Scented cocktail from flowers in bowers
Are like transitory human existence
With life mingling into nothingness
Lost in eternal sleep kissed by death’s venomous lips
A samurai embraces glory and death like
Cherry blossom, sacrificing life in full bloom…
