Who forgives, if either, both or do we need to?
Can you find that place
I know you lost me before
can I save some grace
And let you return for more?
Not much I can say or do
Not much more I can try
Only with words only to you
Only have one shot to drown or fly.
We can’t forget when we
suddenly laughed at it all
I know only with me
We saw time both rise and fall
You waited almost forever
But now I feel you had a plan
I thought you would never
Leave me behind, but you ran
You waited, you heard, and saw
My blind ways and deaf ears
You held me when I broke raw
You were already mine, many years
I could not see beyond the box
In which I lived, you broke through
As I tried to fix the locks
you breathed and I was new.
Now neither is blameless
And neither is pure
We say we accept, and confess
We fond our love to be sure.
And now U say to return
My love was late but it stays
Did you live and learn?
God I love your weird ways.
Can I save some grace?
Can I find that place?
And nor let possibilities die
And all I have known has been
A LIE
