A poem for Duff’s writing challenge using the words Blue Cavalry and Razor.

Image via Wikipedia

I’m heading to Blue Cavalry,
with vengence on my mind.
You can try to hide from me,
but you I will surely find.

You had better watch out,
I know you stole my locket.
I’m coming armed and ready,
there’s a razor in my pocket.

It has a very sharp blade,
it will cut with one swipe.
That really annoying smirk,
from your face I can wipe.

If you really like your grin,
then return my locket to me.
I can be a sensible person,
as long as you don’t try to flee.

Out of all those i’ve read so far, we all seem to have a lot of the same ideas about these two words. Good flow with this poem Darla. I really liked this poem a lot. Well done.

short and to the point. I like this – probably because I have thought like this on occasion!
