Sometimes life can get you down
Happy times disappear,
The blues come around.
When all seems lost,
Hope cannot be found,
The rain in the clouds,
Comes pouring down.

It is just another blue day,
I find myself in a blue way.
I cannot find anything,
To say or do.
I just cannot seem,
To chase these blues away.
Yes, it is just another blue day.

I grab a book,
Sit myself down,
Hoping to find some peace,
There is none to be found.
The telephone is ringing,
The babies are just screaming.
The dogs are just barking.

It is just another blue day,
I am in a blue way.
I cannot find anything,
To say or do,
I cannot chase,
These blues away.
