This is about a man who was a dwarf, but he did not let disease stop him. He went everywhere on his bicycle.

Bobby seemed to be ageless, in fact I never knew his age.

Bobby only had one kidney and a very bad heart or so they say.

Bobby never grew very tall but he was always tall in the saddle.

Riding his bicycle through town you would never know that he  was not supposed to have live past twenty.

He took thinks in his stride and he was not limited in where he could go on that bicycle.

To me he was larger than life, because of his spirit and his ablity to cope.

Not very many black men who are dwarfs could tolerate his life.

Maybe Bobby made it because we all knew he was special.

No he was not retarded but you see we all looked out for Bobby and he minded his own business.

Last Friday Bobby took his last ride on the bicycle as he died of a heart attack.

We still do not know his age, but I know this, it does not matter.

Ride on Bobby on the streets of gold, you ride for yours was a good soul.

You have to admire people like this, who put up with their disabilities or imperfectness and just get on and enjoy life the way they mean to go on. This is a great tribute to Bobby and a perfect example to us all.

Nice article. When you think of it, there are many with disabilities in different way, and yet they all have to overcome and go on with their lives the best way they can. I applaud them all for being so strong to do this :)

Sad, yet speaks highly of a man who did the best he could to make good from a hard situation.
