By the old oak tree we stood, a bond of unifying love,

brothers in arms for good, our calling from above…

Thanking our mother so dear, for what she did for us,

life was simple and clear, just faith hope and trust…

From our youth on, many values she did teach,

praising god in song, nothing was beyond our reach…

As the years rolled by, and with families of our own,

we breathe a loving sigh, her values are still shown…

To all sons and daughters, remember our moms so dear,

gave us many laughter’s, filled our hearts with cheer…

There when we were small, helped us when in need,

and that is not all, gave wisdom for us to heed…

We thank you our loving god, for sending our mother,

our heads we bow and nod, knowing there is no other…

We love you our dear mother, we are here for you,

and to love one another, just like you told us to do……
