On a cold Autumn night

a scream of horror filled with fright

Shocked us all!

It was a fearful thing, that made us hide away from the

awful ring

Of Halloween cheer and glee, made us see

That the shout of fear was from me!

I saw a terrible sight, showered in light

It was a ghost, a spirit, a wandering soul

Coming from the darkness, I saw its pain, radiating outwards

It was lost, I could tell

It was sick, and unwell

I wanted to help, but knew not how

So I went to its side

And whispered a secret

I heard a giggle, and felt warmth

I was absoring the spirits joy!

I was amazed and astounded

It began to rise, and smile

I looked in its eyes for awhile

With a wink, and a rush of air, It disappeared and

spread everywhere

To give halloween happiness to all
