It was a great thundering boom
That shook us last night
The lightning had flashed
Making the lights flicker
Then just a second later
The boom came down upon us
Rolling upon us with growing ferocity
For many seconds it held upon us
We new it was big and close by
The next day we found that
It had taken down a richly built
Four story house
Nature has more power than money
