Come near it wont pour,

It’s the Boxer’s day

We get up early today

Surprisingly there is

No snow yet

But ‘tis as cold as before

You simply that can bet

Long winding queues

Outside each mall

Helps save many

Dollars after all

Wait till the evening

When the snow does fall

Have a happy boxing day

Today at any and every mall

Sounds like the US should adopt a Boxer’s Day; I need a new holiday storyline that doesn’t involve babies and shepherds.

I thought this was the day when, traditionally, the lady/lord of the house gave boxes of presents to the servants along with a day off?

Boxers day is a one day for me to box up the presents I have received on xmas that I really do not want and give these gifts to my fav. charity organization.
