I am breathing in,

I am breathing out,

I am looking around,

Taking in all that is new about me,

Trying to change within,

Without rocking the boat,

Not breaking the status quo,

Still trying to walk on eggshells,

Saying the right thing when it needs to be said,

All the while battling demons that plague my head,

Sometimes I win, sometimes I lose,

I never seem to remember all of the rules.
