Briefly is a short poem exploring the use of a word and its synonyms.

Laconic

a trip

a jaunt to the corner.

An odd singing dragon.

La la la spouted from the scaled lips

In crisp conciseity.

Less messy than fire.

“It won’t help.  You won’t fit through the door.”

The short director spat tersely.

The pithy statement came off too brusquely.

Soon the compact meaty man met his end.

In summary, he was demoted to a snack.

Abridged? He was eaten.
