A bright, colourful poem/story.

The earth spun around me,
Flashes of colour stirred in my head.
I screamed.
The violent red stared at me in the face as the blue bunched up around the corners, slowly starting to swell….

RED
Red is the colour of our heart,
Love wrapped around,
Never to part.
Red is the colour of hate,
Lost and not found,
Alone at a date.
The meanings of Red are different, but the colour stays the same, love is not hatred nor hatred is not love.

BLUE
Blue is the colour of the sea,
Graceful curling waves,
You paddling with me.
Blue is the colour of sadness,
It is alone and cold,
But not madness.

The brilliant colours mixed and twisted as my eyes blurred up,
What was I looking at?
Was this fate?
The violence was melting as the peaceful green overtook with the following brightness of yellow.

GREEN
Green is the colour of a lily pad,
No doubt it is beauty,
Could never be sad.
Green is the colour of the earth,
Blue is not green,
So no green murf.

YELLOW
Yellow is the colour of joy,
Like a girl,
Stood with a boy.
Yellow is the colour of the sun.

The sun swirled with whispered images of the earth’s core all the plants and animals training up together to beat the…. to beat the evil.
The colours can stand strong whilst the dull ones lean back at the power of them. With a little colour in your life everything can go as planned, maybe better.
Don’t leave it blank. Twist it, Flick it and colour it with you.
