Wrote this while watching a storm and thinking about a girl. Whenever I read this, I like to imagine me safe inside while a storm rages outside.

The rains pouring down
And its flooding the ground
Yet it’s a bright eyed day
What can I say

I watch the trees sway
And I’m on the way
and it’s a bright eyed day
I better not stray

Your there in my eyes
Never lost within cries
You are a bright eyed day
A fact I play

So I roll on
And I write the words
That give you my life
Then remember me
When I’m long gone
It’s a bright eyed day
What can I say

The storm blows me back
Yet still I’m on track
Cause it’s a bright eyed day
I shall never stray

Rain and hail strikes down
Wonder why I’m off the ground
Come have a bright eyed day
Get up today

Within me you play
Like a sunny day
You are a bright eyed day
It’s all one way

So lets roll on
As I write you my words
Share with you our life
To remember all
When I’m long gone
It’s a bright eyed day
What can I say

This is an awsome poem! But, I still don’t like storms.

A good mood while stuck in a storm. You must have had someone with you.

Great poem! I actually like storms as long as they don\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\’t become too severe.
