Sleepless in Ontario.

Image

I need to think of what to write

And of course I am up all night

Sleep does not come

Once again

So I put my mind to paper and pen

My fingers they type

As fast as can be

Always racing ahead of me

My brain is lagging

Ideas they don’t flow

And yet I’m writing

Row after row

Good night to all

Sweet dreams to you

If the sandman doesn’t call

I’ll write another or two

I hope you get some sleep soon. Well written, anyway. I can“t write much when I am too tired.. :)

Nina…pretty amazing stuff considering it was written during an insomnia-motivated period of weariness…I voted that I liked it and trust that after your mind raced against the pseed of your fingers to get this all down that you were able to get a bit of rest…remember even rest without sleep is important to your well-being…Thanks and take care…

    Thank you all very much!

I did manage to get a few hours this afternoon. I sleep when my mind and body lets me which is not often so my creativity comes out well at those times.
I often write better at night.
