Pain.
It feels like a tremendous slap to the face
A competitor who just lost a race
A crying child exiting a mothers womb
A broken bride that lost her groom
A missing child that’s never found
A hostage scared beaten and bound
One soul who will never find a friend
Or a gun in your face this is the end
A frightened spirit that’s being chased
Having all the doors shut in your face
The hands of a slave bloody and bruised
Later find out your being used
To be silenced yet you have so much to say
30 years at the company all thrown away
The confusion of not knowing what is love
The anxiousness of waiting for an answer from above
The way moses felt when God required his service
Or the young women who feels she has no purpose
The aching hands of a 70 year old
The arms that have no one to hold
A nine year old raped who’s insides are torn
Knowing lucifer is after everything that came from your loins
The bitter words from a horrible debate
Feeling like martha, Jesus you came too late
The agony of knowing who wants you dead
The migraine aches you have in your head
To take a mans pride and leave him hurt
To have your name drug through the dirt
Locked away for a crime you didn’t do
To wake up and everyday is blue
Treated less than human not ever being respected
Or the face of a child who is always neglected
Wanting to live but depart from this earth
Knowing you were a sinner from the day of your birth
I’m trying to find myself but don’t know where to start
This is the pain I feel through out my broken heart
