Awakening…

Dreams of illusions

Filled with mistrust and confusion

Hearts wronged

Wandering aimlessly

Marching the march

Believing in no one and nothing

Giving up the fight

Pieces of hope on the floor

Unforgiving faith

Turning the tide

No longer living the illusions

Beating back the mistrust and confusion

A wronged rewritten

Wandering no more

Marching onward

Taking a chance on believing

Taking up the fight

Hope restored

Keeping the faith

Broken dreams and empty hearts doesn’t live here any more
