Imperfect in perfection.

I’ve got dirt on my face
And a scar on my neck
With my robes ripped
And my wings clipped
My skin is bruised
My spirit abused
A voice silenced
In the name of violence
I’m an imperfect angel
With a broken halo
Bound to the earth
A place of my birth
Doomed to wallow
In sins of sorrow
A prisoner of my tears
Paralyzed by fear
A soulless mannequin
Battered to ruin
Slowly fading away
By the demons I slay
Was it God’s plan?
Or by my own hand?
That I fell so hard
Leaving my soul scarred
Is this my fate?
Trapped within hate
Can I be saved?
Before it’s too late
I’m an imperfect angel
A broken halo
Please hear my plea
And save me
My God
Save me…

Your halo is fixed God promises. You just need the faith of a mustard seed. Well written with true clarity. Like it!

Your desire will be granted. Nicely written one , nice choice of words and good rhyme.

Lady sunshine, this is a eep and wonderful poem, it shows the improfections we all have. God died for our sins so he promises all you need to do is ask and your wings will be fixed. I LOVE this one the rhym is wonderful and the meaning is deep. :)

It’s a fervrent prayer and ’tis certain to be answered, but I wonder if you flail yourself to much for that brawl. Maybe you’re only half to blame. The rhyme was good.
