My heart is broken;
Shattered by a relationship
That could never last.
Two people so unlike;
Love is fleeting.
For some,
It can go on forever.
But not for me;
Never for me.
So I sit
Thinking of her.
Wondering how
We could ever be together again.
And I know the answer;
The tragic answer;
Never!
