So many homes have been foreclosed upon recently. There’s a house on the end of my block and no one lives in it any longer. It’s sad because this house was once a home and it was inhabited by people I knew.
They left this house to deteriorate
Now nothing but a rotting shell
It lies
Silently waiting
Foundation broken
Hopes crushed
Vulnerable
For all the world to see.
