Poem
Read. Enjoy. Feedback?
If the world weren’t
A place of hate
I wouldn’t feel the need
To change my fate
The need to discriminate
Between what was
What is
And what should’ve been
Mistaken Identity
Amongst my kin
Just a broken line of
Command
Trying to fit in
Where I don’t belong
Growing up
Facing the world
On my own
Do I fit in
Somewhere
Should I even care
Cause in the end
I’m just a broken
Line of command
A problem in the program
Heeding progression
Corruption
Disruption
Interruption to the plan
An outcast of the community
Maintaining my immunity
To the disease that is the
Government
Lawmakers of society
Undertakers of the
Dead freedom that exist
Victims of defiance
Of broken lines of
Command
Trying to fit in
Where we don’t belong
Growing up facing
The world on our own
We don’t fit in
Anywhere
We shouldn’t care
Cause in the end
It’s the broken
Lines of command
That make all
The difference
