Something in me has changed

my hands altered with the times

and you’re here with me

but you are not…

…not by my side

you wash over me in ways

that strip away my sanity

yet you are as real to me

as the corpses within the earth

the stars above our head

are in awe of all we have

cause we can walk places

beyond every ones wildest dreams

all our worlds are sewn together

a tapestry of broken fields and time combined

but our skies have vultures on the wind

bleeding underneath their wings

and the seas are filled with abominations

because that is the only way

we know how to feel

    Let the carrion vultures
    Get good living cultures
    And soar into the sky
    Like Angels flying high.
