I survived a two year relationship with a man who was addicted to crack cocaine. He began using six months into our relationship. I knew NOTHING of what the signs were of an addict. This piece is the video of my second time ever on stage. I was incredibly nervous… especially since myself and Indianapolis, a strong force poetic beasts poetry group ("Fighting Words"), were opening for the great Talaam Acey together. But I got on stage, and I must say I think I nailed it.
