‘Emergency Budget’:

‘Unavoidable’ cutbacks,

says Tory Chancellor;

20% VAT, poorest hit hard -

Benefits ‘reconstituted’; wage freeze

For low paid no match for inflation.

Only the super-rich prospering.

Liberal Democrats embarrassed -

Coalition unravelling?
