When we are given a burden to bear,

It is not done to hurt us.

No, there’s a reason it is there.

It’s burden with a purpose.

And we must bear the burdensome task,

Till it’s fulfilled its season.

Bearing, not caring to even ask,

Whatever may be the reason.

The Lord Who shares the heavy load,

Revealeth bye and bye

The reason we must walk this road,

The reason for the why!

So bear it for a gracious Lord,

With His meek spirit adorned.

And walk by faith in His sure Word,

Till Christ in you be formed!
