in my own emptiness

in my own damned pain

and in all the sadistic lies.

Why did you have to lead me down?

I watched you wallow in your triumph

but why is there so much pain within me?

I thought I could help you live with love

and I thought that i could save you,

But I was wrong about it all,

I couldn’t kill all the emptiness and lies.

You led me on a wild journey

one that i should have never,

ever have let myself travel.

You literally led me on in a dream,

you ripped me to pieces,

from inside on out,

and fed me to the lions in that den,

the den that you called love.

You are a sadistic liar

you took my strength from me

and the little pride that i had had left.

How can I trust another man again?

How can i let myself love once more?

Give me a damned reason to live

because you buried me alive.
