About an annual event that takes place in Lake Havasu City, Arizona.

Buses by the bridge
Buses every shape,size and style
all have driven to Lake Havasu to stay awhile.
People from all over
sharing talent and skills
various clubs and personalities
a contest of wills.
A race to see who can run the slowest
how long to change a tranny
the frequency and speed
proves to be uncanny
Music fills the air at night
three guitars and a bongo jam
while others discuss the size of their cam
Old and young and from the sticks
Vanagens, bays, bugs, single cabs and splits
Bite size tacos and chili too
Boy Scouts serve breakfast
what a crew.
Quilt raffle won by a man
who also won the slow drags
Jorge from Albuquerque makes a stand
kids introduced to the raffle craze
with simple toys that just amaze
and to the benefit of the Children’s Association
and Lake Park and Recreation
From VTO and save the Bays
The Busketeers save the day.

You sure do know how to use imagery, Cynthia. Thanks for sharing.

Again, well done. It really paints a picture. Or animates a video, rather.

Thank you for viewing, I can only guess,
feed back need not be a mess
what you like or do not care for
    would be appreciated
    I won’t ask for more
this is a work in progress
and like my poems have stated
    writer’s block has infiltrated
    would like suggestions
    don’t be cruel
    I will in turn
    do the same
    for you
