The Buttercorn

I was walking down this boring street

When suddenly I came to meet

A creature so queer, so fast and so pure

What was it? A butterfly is too demure

A unicorn I decided, the golden tusk was there

But upon looking back, it seemed like a buttercorn, so fair

OMG! A buttercorn between my eyes

I like the buttercorn, because it brings music to my sighs

It’s is wonderful and majestic and packs a mighty punch

more delicious than my Lucky Charms and Captain Crunch

more tasty than my ramen and chocolate cigars

and better than Obama and seventeen cars!

What serendipity! Oh how fortuitous I was

to see a buttercorn in its glorious fuzz

And as I stood texting, wanting to share 

The buttercorn vanished right into midair.
