This song / poem was written for girl friend at the time. She was going through a time in her life where she was dis-trusting men and I wrote it and gave it to her. It was a start to a beautiful relationship and I smile when I read this.

its like the cold winter exist outside you
you don’t know there’s

is it so terrible?
how is it so unbearable?
open up your heart
spread open your wings
I am a butterfly trapped behind glass
I can’t hear you, but I can see you

blinded by your voice, but I can feel you

than you could ever seem
you don’t see me
looking at you with my blue eyes
I could change you into what I see
I would never betray

is it really so hard to say?
