It’s a  world of famine disease and strife

There is no food to feed the masses

As sounds of gunfire rule the world

What went wrong in this world of ours

Where once a child’s life was a joy to behold

Have we become so vicious and feral

That we cannot see the pain and grief

Can we not feel a mothers heartbreak

As the child she loved disappears

Have we not the time of day

To make a stand and say no more

Let us revert to love’s beginning

Healing the wounds mankind has made.

Reach out today touch one person

Each and everyone one of us should try.

To  regain our heritage of peace and love.
