The day God had ordained.

Just as the sacred tree grew and had its start.

Growing strong and true,
Jesus taught much from an holy view.
Calvary’s cross was His ultimate goal,
As of God’s love He told.

With His dream in heart and mind,
He set out to honor the Divine.
Calvary’s cross was His way
To escort God’s people to His grace.

Seeking to do His Father’s will,
Jesus’ world stood still.
Calvary’s cross displayed His mercy,
As His people were redeemed.

Healing love He bled,
As sin’s darkness fled.
Calvary’s cross still grows in hearts,
As Christ saves each from the dark.
