Humorous poem about a campfire ghost story.

Late at night,

Gather around the campfire

For a ghost story.

Don’t be frightened.

You will survive.

After all,

Ghosts don’t really exist.

Do they?

Glare at the fire.

Be cool.

Nothing to worry about.

But listen carefully.

Can you hear the wailing sound of death?

Meowww!

Ahhhhh!

It’s the ghost of Camp Scarborough.

Nah, it’s only my cat.

Sorry, didn’t mean to step on your tail.

Cats may have nine lives,

But a cat that has a hurt tail,

Well, that’s another tale.
