How can I doubt the way I feel

Every time I talk to her

My days are empty while I’m gone

Time creeps by but life is a blur

I wonder if she’ll wait for me

I hope with all my heart she does

For I recall that short time with her

A loving smile, my mind abuzz

Listen to her amusing chatter

Feel the way she holds me tight

See the light in her eyes for me

And you’ll know how I feel tonight

For I love her, yes I do

And it’s amazing, she loves me too
