This is a poem about the fast approaching Christmas season. As always, I’m taken by surprise and unprepared for its arrival. Yet, wherever I go, those seasonal bells are ringing.

Hear the bells chime out,

Christmas is fast approaching,

Notes of God’s love ring

Season with holiday joy,

Jesus our Savior was born!
