This is for those who don’t see beyond you appearance.
Can you see through me?
Can you see through my hair?
Flipped, curled, and sprayed,
Or do you just give me a lustful stare?
Can you see through my eyes?
They seem so blunt and blank,
In there, is ocean deep love that lies,
Or is all you see eyeshadow and mascara?
Can you see through my chest?
Just looks like curves,
Don’t you see the heart beneath?
Oh, when it comes to that, your eyes swerve.
Can you see through my legs?
The fulfilling thickness,
Cant you see my strength?
All my accomplishments nevertheless!
You cant see the character I own,
Its not passive or naive,
Its kind and righteous,
Its not looking to be deceived.
You cant see the love I’m offering,
No, its not for sale,
Not to be taken for granted,
But to be appreciated in detail.
You dont see the heart,
That beats perfectly with all its scars,
No, its not weak, it has survived,
My heart is not for you to bar.
You dont see my strength,
It was not coincidence or luck,
Its not for you to take as lame,
It is called working hard.
You have broadened my sight,
By limiting yours,
Viewing no further than my skin,
Its you not love, that is BLIND!!
