As first light falls
Radiant snowflakes on my head
My mind still sprawls
While shivers start to spread
As I stretch my wings
Intrusion in my habitat
And in my eyes it stings
When I sight the big black cat
My better half can’t flee
As the darkness closes in
I wish it would take me,
This common assassin
As she looses a feather
In a last attempt to escape
Her eyes close altogether
And her lips freeze in a smilish shape
I reluctantly watch as I’m bound
Since a real remedy is yet to be found
