A wife that is unable to sleep is pestered by her husband for sex.
I feel sleepy
Awake all night
Tossing and turning
Like a ship at sea
- – -
Rock ‘n’ rolling
Being buffeted
By giant waves
When will sleep come?
It’s three in the morning
I’ve to be up early
And I’ve been trying
To sleep
For four long hours
- – -
I know I suffer from insomnia
But I never knew
My life could be
This miserable
I’m crotchety
Irritable
And are virtually
Pulling my hair out
- – -
I’ve taken a bubble bath
Drank more than a glass
Of warm milk
Pop sleeping pills
But to no avail
- – -
But my husband
Doesn’t help one bit
He keeps pestering me
About sex
When I’ve to be up early
For work and am miserable
- – -
He’s like a dog
I let him know
I say, “let sleeping dogs lie
and those that can’t
try to sleep”
But he won’t quit
I’m going to kill that man
