‘Life is the empty canvas
so paint your picture then you live within ,
so where should I begin? so many shades
so many hues,

Green,white, black, red, yellow, & every shade of blue,
Just what your portrait, looks like is up to you,
sometimes you don’t even have, the colors you need,
then you must improvise, blend & minimize

As your pour your heart in2 every stroke,
hoping for the best, as this life puts you to the test &
you hope to express yourself, in the right light,

So you cross your fingers and squint your eyes
before too long you realize that as long as
your painting from your heart you can’t go wrong
no matter who doesn’t like it,At least it’s true
