Just what the title suggests.
I am facing the Time all alone
Calling out to a house with nobody home
Taking things just the way they come
Marching to a drum with a different beat
Everyday a joyous sunrise I do greet
It wasn’t always this way
Only recently I learned the right things to say
A youthful folly followed me like a shadow
Stupidly grasping at the proverbial apple
Blissful ignorance my degredation
Another cog in the broken wheel, daily robotic machination
Swirling slowly down into the abyss of oblivion
Fighting conformity with conformity of a different kind
Angry at what? I don’t know! I was blind
Locked up my soul and threw away the key
A sheep following the transparent reality of society
A stereotype filled my head
Puff puff pass the chain bound me
A lone wanderer cast out to sea
Fighting everything that truly made me free
Out of this swirling mist of chaos I was born
North of the arctic circle I was suckled by a pack of wolves
It was kill or be killed, eat or be eaten
No sense of community
Capitalism imprisoned me
