Divine sound – do you hear it?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Canterbury_grass.jpg

The call from the Turkish mosque

Like fingers feeling their way

Through narrow alleys

Stroking, caressing those

Who will heed it.

The choir of the English cathedral

Like tendrils rising their way

Up into elegant arches

Lifting, carrying those

Who will heed it.

The chant inside the Indian temple

Like whispers creeping their way

Down the marble steps

Grasping, intriguing those

Who will heed it.

The cadence of the Carnac circle

Like vines winding their way

Amongst the standing stones

Leading, calling those

Who did heed it.
