An Appreciation of a Shakespeare Sonnet.
One of Shakespeare’s sonnets which is number 116 has always held great esteem for me.
He discusses love in a direct way in that he has a strong point to put forward and says also what love is not as we see true love should not alter or waiver purely because some obstacle is in the way of that true relationship and strong love the emotion finds true hearts beating as one. He will not even “admit impediments or bend with the remover to remove” Too many people today are weak and purely give in to some part that waivers what they should have it could be the loss of a soul mate given away too easily fight for what is yours and reason it out. Granted when renewal is due we must renew but until them grow with the trends of highs and lows as a test in time. I could recite the whole sonnet but that would be a copy of his work which is not the point of this exercise. Alas I wish to celebrate his thoughts and process along the lines of true love and indeed understand we should be tolerant with our partners in sensitive situations where we fully support them with unconditional love.
