I wanted to write this poem because it reminds me of how beutiful I am and to tell others to celebrate themselves because life is too short to waste it and anything can happen.
I celebrate myself in every possible way every
morning as the sun gets up,
I get up to face the every whole new day.
To celebrate myself is to know
that I am alive inside and out
to celebrate myself is to laugh,
skip, write, sing, dance, smell the
scent of flowers.
Taste the sweetness of chocolate cookies.
To celebrate myself is what I can do
and when I do it everyday I feel confident
and optimistic.
